About Our Founder

As someone who’s been surrounded and influenced by creativity and design throughout her life, and been called the ‘queen of organisation’ too many times (just check out her colour coordinated wardrobe), April has always had a love of events and styling.

And there aren’t too many people who can say they’ve watched 27 Dresses and Bride Wars too many times to count.

From the first time she organised her father’s 50th at just 16, planning and coordinating every moment ensuring he had the time of his life – April’s known this industry was for her.

She’s been spurred on by stories of those overwhelmed, stressed, and unhappy planning what should be their dream event, spending something like up to 100 hours planning and coordinating, and sadly, wasting unnecessary costs from overpaying for suppliers.

She’s proud to share her experience gained from studying Business and Commerce at The University of Queensland, and an Advanced Certificate in Wedding and Styling with the Internationally renowned Wedding Academy, as well as her years of experience learning from other event planners and co-working and events spaces.
